Abstract“The Connaught” is a collection of works by Ikuo Seike, one of Japan's leading photographers. This book is composed of illustrations taken by Seike on the 5-star hotel “The Connaught” located in the Mayfair district of London. Connoisseur, a prestigious hotel that competes in London, and also has a Michelin restaurant, is also an art collector with over 3,000 works of art. The gallery “Hamiltons” next to this Connaught is one of the world's longest-established photo galleries. This is the book that was produced by the friendship of. Recorded from the perspective unique to Seike, such as overlooked door knobs and scenery over curtains. A luxurious binding using handmade “Mino Washi” from Gifu Prefecture, and was published as a gift for top customers, limited to 300 copies. Not for sale. 12 illustrations. Both English and Japanese.
