AbstractQuesto volume completa il programma di ricerca sul territorio dell’antica colonia latina di Venusia attraverso un’indagine di rilevamento e con il censimento di oltre mille unità topografiche, su un’area di oltre 1000 kmq compresa tra la valle dell’Ofanto e le pendici del Vulture. Scopo finale dell’indagine è stata la ricostruzione della storia del comprensorio e del paesaggio antico in tutte le fasi di occupazione, dalla Preistoria al Medioevo. / This volume completes the research program that was carried out on the territory of the ancient Latin colony of Venusia. The study involved a survey investigation and the census of over 1000 topographic units, covering an area of over 1000 square km between the Ofanto Valley and the slopes of Mount Vulture. The ultimate goal was the reconstruction of the history of the area and of the ancient landscape in all its phases of settlement, from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
